Disconnecting, and what happens to your data
Disconnect = deletion
Disconnecting any connector does three things, immediately: we revoke our own tokens with the provider (where a revocation API exists — Google, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot; GitHub uninstalls the app), we delete the tokens or keys on our side, and we hard-delete everything read through that connector — people, seats, findings, the lot. Not archived. Deleted.
What lingers, and for how long
Encrypted backups roll off within 30 days — that's the only place deleted data briefly survives. Scans replace snapshots: we never keep historical copies of your member lists. The full retention story is in the privacy policy; who processes what is on the sub-processors page.
Bigger requests
Want the whole account gone, or a data export first? Mail [email protected] — acknowledged within 2 business days, executed within 7. You can also revoke Stackleaks from the provider's side (admin console → apps) at any time; our access dies instantly either way.
